./devel/libftdi, Userland driver library for FTDI USB chips

[ CVSweb ] [ Homepage ] [ RSS ] [ Required by ] [ Add to tracker ]

Branch: CURRENT, Version: 0.20nb1, Package name: libftdi-0.20nb1, Maintainer: jakllsch

libFTDI is an open source library to talk to FTDI chips: FT232BM,
FT245BM, FT2232C, FT2232D and FT245R, including the popular bitbang
mode. The library is linked with your program in userspace, no
kernel driver required.

libFTDI works perfectly with Linux, Windows, MacOS X and BSD variants
thanks to libusb.

Required to run:
[devel/libusb-compat]

Revbump for packages depending on devel/libusb{,compat}

Log message:
Import global switch for libusb's implementation [2/2]

This switch is meant to be used by packages requiring an implementation of the
former libusb (as in devel/libusb). The original implementation can be
chosen by setting LIBUSB_TYPE to "native".

The alternative implementation libusb-compat (as in devel/libusb-compat) wraps
libusb1 (in devel/libusb1). This implementation can be chosen by setting
LIBUSB_TYPE to "compat". On NetBSD, it has the advantage of not \
requiring root
privileges to locate and use USB devices without a kernel driver.

This second part switches packages using libusb to this framework. It does not
change compilation options or dependencies at this point.

Compile-tested on most packages affected and available on NetBSD/amd64.

Add SHA512 digests for distfiles for devel category

Issues found with existing distfiles:
	distfiles/eclipse-sourceBuild-srcIncluded-3.0.1.zip
	distfiles/fortran-utils-1.1.tar.gz
	distfiles/ivykis-0.39.tar.gz
	distfiles/enum-1.11.tar.gz

	distfiles/pvs-3.2-linux.tgz
	distfiles/pvs-3.2-solaris.tgz
	distfiles/pvs-3.2-system.tgz
No changes made to these distinfo files.

Otherwise, existing SHA1 digests verified and found to be the same on
the machine holding the existing distfiles (morden). All existing
SHA1 digests retained for now as an audit trail.
