Branch: CURRENT, Version: 0.16.3, Package name: rygel-0.16.3, Maintainer: pkgsrc-users

Rygel is a home media solution that allows you to easily share
audio, video and pictures, and control of media player on your home
network. In technical terms it is both a UPnP AV MediaServer and
MediaRenderer implemented through a plug-in mechanism. Interoperability
with other devices in the market is achieved by conformance to very
strict requirements of DLNA and on the fly conversion of media to
format that client devices are capable of handling.

TODO:
Core dumps for me on NetBSD-6.99.15/amd64 after adding media -- wiz

More portable solution for uuid code should be found (see
patch*librygel*); using the libuuid package doesn't currently work
because of net/gupnp/buildlink3.mk's trying to overwrite uuid.pc.

Config file framework should be used.
pkgsrc user/group handling should be used.
rc.d script should be added.
