Hello, world. Thank you for your interest in the pkgsrc.se project!
"The NetBSD Packages Collection (pkgsrc) is a framework for building
third-party software
on NetBSD and other UNIX-like systems, currently
containing over 7000 packages.
It is used to enable freely available
software to be configured and built easily on supported platforms."
Pkgsrc by the web, pkgsrc.se, is intended to be an easy navigated
frontend to the NetBSD packages collection. The project was introduced
to the pkgsrc community in late 2003, and has gone through a few
revisions since then.
Only CURRENT and the latest stable branch is updated. The CURRENT branch is updated several times a day while the stable branch is updated once a day.
pkgsrc.se does also include the packages in pkgsrc-wip;
"pkgsrc-wip (work in progress) is a project to get more people actively
involved with creating packages for pkgsrc,
a portable packaging system
coming from NetBSD, but ported to many other operating systems,
including
Solaris, Linux, Darwin, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and others."

Feedback, miscellaneous:
Since pkgsrc.se fetch its data from pkgsrc and pkgsrc-wip, there might
exist nonworking URI's, outdated distfiles, et cetera.
Needless to say, we can't do anything about these issues since the information is
'pkgsrc accurate', wherein the real problem is located.
Other bugs and errors might occur too. If you find one, and don't think
it is related to the pkgsrc repository, please
contact
us.
pkgsrc.se technology;
Graphs and system information of the servers is available here:

"
I don't like banners!"
The reason, as stated many times before, it costs to run these websites.
We assure you,
all money generated through the banners goes directly to
better hardware, domain costs
and general maintenance costs.
Thanks to Ola Eriksson for his help and for sharing his ingenious ideas.
Finally, how can we improve? Send us feedback!
