./wm/lwm, Lightweight Window Manager

[ CVSweb ] [ Homepage ] [ RSS ] [ Required by ] [ Add to tracker ]

Branch: CURRENT, Version: 1.2.1nb1, Package name: lwm-1.2.1nb1, Maintainer: pkgsrc-users

lwm is a window manager for X that tries to keep out of your face. There
are no icons, no button bars, no icon docks, no root menus, no nothing:
if you want all that, then other programs can provide it. There's no
configurability either: if you want that, you want a different window
manager; one that helps your operating system in its evil conquest of
your disc space and its annexation of your physical memory. It provides
EWMH support.

Log message:
Add SHA512 digests for distfiles for wm category

Problems found with existing distfiles:
	distfiles/fvwm-1.24r.tar.gz

Otherwise, existing SHA1 digests verified and found to be the same on
the machine holding the existing distfiles (morden). All existing
SHA1 digests retained for now as an audit trail.

Log message:
Remove xextproto/buildlink3.mk in most cases where it occurs with
libXext/buildlink3.mk, now that it is included there.
Leave the places where its API version is set or variables from it
are used directly (about 3 packages).

Log message:
wm/lwm: Directly link libICE

The session.o object contains the IceProcessMessages symbol which wasn't
previously directly linked with libICE. This is another imake-based
package so libICE is now directly linked by all platforms.

Log message:
I'm not using any of these any more, either. Some of these should probably
go away -- I have real doubts that a version 1.1 jdk and the accompanying
swing are any use to anyone, but am not sure the newer stuff we have
supports all ports which are supported by lang/jdk.
