      * Typo in definition of \new@ifnextchar fixed (Ulrike Fischer),
      * and \kernel@ifnextchar disabled (Dan Luecking).
    * dvipdfm(x)/xetex: This driver family does not support nested
      annotations. Therefore annotations inside annotations are
      disabled automatically.
