Log message: Remove python24 and all traces of it from pkgsrc. Remove devel/py-ctypes (only needed by and supporting python24). Remove PYTHON_VERSIONS_ACCEPTED and PYTHON_VERSIONS_INCOMPATIBLE lines that just mirror defaults now. Miscellaneous cleanup while editing all these files. |

Log message: Import py26-symeig-1.5 as wip/py-symeig. The symeig module contains a Python wrapper for the LAPACK functions to solve the standard and generalized eigenvalue problems for symmetric (hermitian) positive definite matrices. Those specialized algorithms give an important speed-up with respect to the generic LAPACK eigenvalue problem solver used by NumPy (linalg.eig and linalg.eigh). |
