This is an emergency release that fixes a critical bug introduced in v. 1.54.

This is a maintenance release which adds a file that has been
 forgotten in v. 1.54 (gloss-latex-lde).

Furthermore, it introduces new features for Polish (splithyphens,
vlna, babelshorthands).
