The original goal of this module was to produce GPX/XML files which were
parseable by both GPX Spinner and EasyGPS. As of version 0.13 it has been
extended to support general parsing and generation of GPX data.
GPX 1.0 and 1.1 are supported.

    Renamed method waypoints_add(), was add_waypoint():
        - this change was necessary for consistency in method naming
        - users should replace all calls to add_waypoint with waypoints_add

    New methods to replace current accessors: routes(), tracks()

    New methods: routes_add(), tracks_add(), clone()

    new()'s 'input' key now accepts a filename as argument and a work_dir key \ 
can be specified to set the instance's working directory. Has no effect on the \ 
caller's current working directory.

    Added methods set_filename(), set_wd() and save().
