./fonts/tex-dozenal, Typeset documents using base twelve numbering (also called dozenal)

[ CVSweb ] [ Homepage ] [ RSS ] [ Required by ] [ Add to tracker ]

Branch: CURRENT, Version: 7.2, Package name: tex-dozenal-7.2, Maintainer: pkgsrc-users

The package supports typesetting documents whose counters are
represented in base twelve, also called "dozenal". It includes
a macro by David Kastrup for converting positive whole numbers
to dozenal from decimal (base ten) representation. The package
also includes a few other macros and redefines all the standard
counters to produce dozenal output. Fonts, in Roman, italic,
slanted, and boldface versions, provide ten and eleven (the
Pitman characters preferred by the Dozenal Society of Great
Britain). The fonts were designed to blend well with the
Computer Modern fonts, and are available both as Metafont
source and in Adobe Type 1 format.

all: migrate several HOMEPAGEs to https

pkglint --only "https instead of http" -r -F

With manual adjustments afterwards since pkglint 19.4.4 fixed a few
indentations in unrelated lines.

This mainly affects projects hosted at SourceForce, as well as
freedesktop.org, CTAN and GNU.

Update tex-dozenal{,-doc} to 7.1

Previously, dozenal wouldn't work with the Type1 versions of the fonts
if compiling with luatex. Now it does.

Update tex-dozenal{,-doc} to 6.0

For version 6.0, added the "\doznumtowords" macro, which
will take a counter and output it in dozenal words. Which
words it uses can be customized; I have made no attempt to
internationalize this with different languages, because I
haven't the foggiest how to do so other than simply writing
option packs with different definitions in them. Also did a
complete rewrite of |\basex|, so its workings are now
(almost) comprehensible. Finally, darkened the tally marks
and put in hand-written italic shapes.
