Cave Story (Doukutsu Monogatari) is a classic freeware metroidvania
platform-adventure video game by Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya.

This is a somewhat upgraded/refactored version of NXEngine, a complete
open-source clone/rewrite of Cave Story.
