Patch provided by Jenz Guenther with some adjustments by myself.
pkgsrc changes:
- Adjust to configure and inject INSTALL*, PREFIX and MANDIR variables
- Patch configure and Makefile to honor INSTALL_MAN and MANDIR
- Add support for test
