math/pynumpy16,
Array processing for numbers, strings, records, and objects
Branch: CURRENT,
Version: 1.16.6nb2,
Package name: py27numpy1.16.6nb2,
Maintainer: pkgsrcusersNumPy is a generalpurpose arrayprocessing package designed to
efficiently manipulate large multidimensional arrays of arbitrary
records without sacrificing too much speed for small multidimensional
arrays. NumPy is built on the Numeric code base and adds features
introduced by numarray as well as an extended CAPI and the ability to
create arrays of arbitrary type.
There are also basic facilities for discrete fourier transform,
basic linear algebra and random number generation.
This is an old version that still supports Python 2.7, kept because it
is required dependency of other packages that still require Python 2.7.
Required to run:[
math/lapack] [
math/blas] [
devel/pysetuptools] [
devel/pycython] [
lang/python27] [
lang/gcc7]
Required to build:[
pkgtools/cwrappers]

math/pynumpy16: bring BLAS usage into line with math/pynumpy
This old version for PY27 now behaves just like the modern one
regarding usage of BLAS and actually CBLAS.

Log message:
math/blas, math/lapack: Install interchangeable BLAS system
Install the new interchangeable BLAS system created by Thomas Orgis,
currently supporting Netlib BLAS/LAPACK, OpenBLAS, cblas, lapacke, and
Apple's Accelerate.framework. This system allows the user to select any
BLAS implementation without modifying packages or using package options, by
setting PKGSRC_BLAS_TYPES in mk.conf. See mk/blas.buildlink3.mk for details.
This commit should not alter behavior of existing packages as the system
defaults to Netlib BLAS/LAPACK, which until now has been the only supported
implementation.
Details:
Add new mk/blas.buildlink3.mk for inclusion in dependent packages
Install compatible Netlib math/blas and math/lapack packages
Update math/blas and math/lapack MAINTAINER approved by adam@
OpenBLAS, cblas, and lapacke will follow in separate commits
Update direct dependents to use mk/blas.buildlink3.mk
Perform recursive revbump

math/pynumpy16: Restrict to python 2.7
This package only exists to accomodate programs (e.g. gnuradio) which
have not yet updated to python3. Therefore, only allow numpy16 for
python2.7. (I believe there are zero py37numpy16 users, and if so, that
should be discussed to understand why.)
