./math/py-numpy16, Array processing for numbers, strings, records, and objects

Branch: CURRENT, Version: 1.16.6nb5, Package name: py38-numpy-1.16.6nb5, Maintainer: pkgsrc-users

NumPy is a general-purpose array-processing package designed to
efficiently manipulate large multi-dimensional arrays of arbitrary
records without sacrificing too much speed for small multi-dimensional
arrays. NumPy is built on the Numeric code base and adds features
introduced by numarray as well as an extended C-API and the ability to
create arrays of arbitrary type.

There are also basic facilities for discrete fourier transform,
basic linear algebra and random number generation.

This is an old version that still supports Python 2.7 and 3.7, kept because
it is a required dependency of other packages that still require those
versions.

Required to run:
[math/lapack] [math/blas] [devel/py-setuptools] [devel/py-cython] [lang/python27] [lang/gcc7]

Required to build:
[pkgtools/cwrappers]

py-numpy16: no need to use versioned_dependencies

This is for 3.8 only.

py-numpy16: remove support for Python 2

AFAICT this is not needed any longer;
its Python 3.8 support is still needed though.

py37-reduce: Drop 37 from PYTHON_VERSIONS_ACCEPTED

Drop 37 from PYTHON_VERSIONS_ACCEPTED for all but
py-backports.cached-property (which exists only for 37, and I'm
guessing it will build fine and not cause trouble).

This follows the new plan of "37 is all but removed, with the
lang/python37 package remaining, but py37-foo are not built by
default" compromise to avoid problems from the current state of
massive py37-foo build failures while stopping short of outright
removal.

py-numpy16: allow Python 3.7 as well (un-break builds)

Now that Python 3.7 is also directed here for builds, include it in
PYTHON_VERSIONS_ACCEPTED.
